Our Tortelloni with Lamb Ragu - delivered to your door for a stress-free dinner. Hand-made pasta in a rich, meaty, slow-cooked sauce. Ready to go. All you have to do is heat and eat. A 400g serving – a generous dinner for 1, or for 2 to share with a side salad.

Our Italian chef makes the fresh pasta by hand every day. He then creates perfect parcels by filling the tortelloni (plumper than tortellini) with Ricotta and Parmigiano Reggiano from Italy. They’re covered in a generous lamb ragu sauce that's been slowly cooked until it's tender and fall-apart soft. It's a deeply satisfying dish that's packed full of rich, meaty flavour. Add a glass of red for a perfect dinner in front of the fire, or curled up on the sofa.

Our new, eco-friendlier delivery boxes..... Even though we've been careful to reuse most of our styrofoam delivery boxes we have, for some time, wanted to find an option that is kinder to the environment.

We have been testing these new cardboard boxes with insulated liner for a couple of weeks, and are now using them for our deliveries.

The cardboard box can be put into your recycling bin, and the inner can be folded down and added to your general waste. (Or, given back to us to re-use.) We're looking to continue using them - at least in the colder months of the year.

Malaysian Beef Rendang - Our Singaporean chef makes his own paste from ginger, galangal, cardamom, lemongrass, chilli, cinnamon, cloves, star anise, cardamom and cumin with desiccated coconut. (If you look closely you can even see the coconut in the sauce.) Because it's made from scratch you can taste the layers of individual spices. Aussie beef (chuck steak) is marinated and then slowly cooked in this rendang sauce till it's tender.

It's not an overpowering curry - there's just enough heat in the curry to warm the back of your throat.

We have this meal available in two sizes: A MEAL-TO-SHARE SIZE - for a quick, easy, tasty dinner at home just add steamed rice (either yours, or ours if you're in an extra hurry!) And a SINGLE SERVE size, already accompanied by fragrant coconut rice (cooked in coconut milk and Pandan leaf), and green beans.

If you have that little extra time, add your own boiled egg, cucumber, ikan bilis and chilli paste on the side to transform it into Nasi Lemak .

We've focussed on the flavour with this one, rather than pure heat, and it gives off a fabulous aroma whilst it's heating up in the kitchen.

The chef has taken great care to let this gently bubble along whilst cooking, so that all the flavours slowly develop into a rich, deep, meaty sauce. It's packed full of flavour yet milder on spice-heat than you might expect. ​

For those who like it hot, we'd suggest just adding a dash or two of Tabasco or chilli oil to suit your own tastebuds.

July 15th, 2021 7/15/20210 Comments Picture NEW. Our authentic Teriyaki Chicken - with slight charring where the sauce has 'caught' while being grilled! Extra delicious. Chicken pieces are marinaded in a Teriyaki Sauce - soy sauce, sake and mirin - and then grilled till perfectly cooked. You can tell it's been hand-cooked as the slight 'charring' intensifies the flavour of the chicken and the sauce.

Our vegetables - broccoli, edamame and Shiitake mushroom - are gently stewed in a dash broth till al dente - highlighting both their flavour and colour.

These are served with a very special rice accompaniment - wild Thai rice (mixed with short grain rice). This is also known as Berry Rice, and is being heralded as the next 'superfood' as it is so packed full of antioxidants. anti-inflammatory agents, fibre, and a whole host of other nutrients. Perhaps more importantly, it tastes fabulous and has a great texture. (The very best bits are those at the bottom of the pack where they have absorbed the sauce!)

You can tell it's REAL food - even when it's frozen. We believe in making and eating real food. Food that's made by hand, using only the best ingredients. With care and attention, and time for the flavours to slowly develop - just like you would at home.

Take our Vegetable Lasagna. Our Italian chef makes all the pasta fresh every day, by hand, using Australian Durum wheat. Layers of silky soft pasta are covered with tomato sauce using Italian tomatoes and paste with onions, garlic, oil and fresh basil. Bechamel Sauce (full cream milk, butter and a little nutmeg) is added, together with fresh pumpkin, zucchini, and ricotta; white wine, eggs, celery, onion, garlic, olive oil, and salt and pepper. Mozarella is added, and then grated aged Grana Padano cheese from Italy are added. That's it. No chemicals, preservatives, additives, thickeners, 'milk solids'. 'dried whole milk', canola oil, colours........

We don't need any additives: as soon as they're cooked our lasagne and cannelloni are snap-frozen to seal in the nutrients and flavours. Meaning they contain only real food. Just like you would at home.
