Originating from family farm kitchens in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Cottage Pie has been adopted as an Aussie favourite for generations. This simple yet nourishing dish is a heart warmer. Our chefs have used their ‘tried and true’ recipe base of Aussie lamb and Aussie beef gently combined with a variety of herbs and spices and finished off with gorgeous creamy mash crust on top. A great quick and easy meal.
Potato, Australian Lamb, Australian Beef, Onion, premium beef stock, Water, Milk, Cream, Tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Maize flour, Thyme, Garlic, Butter, Vegetable oil, Black pepper, Salt, Parsley, Mixed herbs, Paprika, Nutmeg.
This dish may contain traces of nuts, seeds, gluten, eggs (as it it cooked in a kitchen where other meals are being prepared).
Individual ingredients - such as coconut cream/milk, tomato paste, spice mixes, sauces (fish, tabasco, etc) - may also contain their own preservatives/additives, although in small amounts in proportion to the cooked dish.
If thawed: Oven: Preheat oven to 180 C. Remove lid and place container in oven for approx 10-15 minutes. (Container is oven safe.) Microwave: Remove lid and leave resting on top. Heat for 2 minutes. Then heat for another minute. Let stand for 1 minute before serving. (Time may vary according to microwave oven.)
If still frozen - add extra heating time.
