A taste of France, with tender beef and vegetables

A taste of France, with tender beef and vegetables

This delicious dish originates from France, in the regional province of Bourgogne, where it is known as Boeuf Bourguignon. It is one of the better-known French dishes and is often referred to as Beef Burgundy.

Pasture-fed beef is slowly braised traditionally with red wine (Burgundy) along with the rich flavours of our chef's own home-made beef stock, ham hock, garlic, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and herbs.

As a meal served with mash potato, beans (French, of course!) and steamed carrots, it is a definite heart warmer - and a wonderful meal to come home to.

All you have to do is heat and eat.

Ingredients:
Pasture feed beef diced ,Beef Stock (beef bones, water, onion, carrot, celery, red wine, tomato paste, Tuscan blend olive oil, garlic, thyme, peppercorns  bay leaves), red wine, speck, onions, mushrooms, maize starch, tomato paste, plain flour, Tuscan blend olive oil, thyme, garlic, salt, bay leaves, pepper, potato, milk, cream, butter, pepper, nutmeg, green beans and carrots

This dish contains gluten and dairy.  It also may contain traces of nuts, seeds, gluten, eggs and dairy (as it it cooked in a kitchen where other meals are being prepared).
Individual ingredients - such as coconut cream/milk, tomato paste, spice mixes, sauces (fish, tabasco, etc)  - may also contain their own preservatives/additives, although in very small amounts in proportion to the cooked dish.
