The rich and robust sauce is slow-cooked with vegetables, fresh rosemary, bay leaves, thyme and mixed herbs until soft and tender. One of our best sellers!

It is hard for anyone to resist our Lamb Shanks and Vegetable sauce. They're one of our most popular dishes! Two lamb shanks are cooked until they are fall-apart tender and braised slowly with our chef's own special vegetable sauce and beef stock, the lamb shanks are full of flavour. The rich and robust sauce is slow cooked with vegetables and seasoned with fresh rosemary, bay leaves, thyme and mixed herbs. Accompany the lamb shanks with couscous and salad, or creamy mash and greens and you’ll have a crowd-pleasing dinner on the table tonight.

Ingredients:

Australian Lamb shanks, premium vegetable sauce, Carrots, Onion, Celery, Tomato puree, Red wine, Tomato paste, Garlic, Vegetable oil, Sugar, Rosemary, Salt, Mixed herbs, Thyme, White pepper, Bay leaves, premium beef stock.

Allergen Notice:  TESTED GLUTEN-FREE.

May contain traces of nuts, seeds and eggs, as cooked in a kitchen that uses those products

Heating Instructions:

These shanks can be reheated in the microwave from frozen. However, when we eat these we find that for absolutely best results - ie to keep them at their most tender - it's best to gradually defrost them in the fridge overnight, and then quickly heat them up in the microwave once they've defrosted.

Open lid, and place container on a plate to heat in microwave.

From Thawed: Heat for 3 minutes on high, stir, then heat for another 2 minutes, or until contents are hot. Let stand for 2 minutes before serving.

As the heating capacity of individual microwave ovens varies so much, heating temperatures and times are a guide only.
